Week 7 - Movie review

Name of the movie: The terminal
My rating: 3
1. Characters: Viktor, he was a man above 40 years old. He was a good man, good friend to his friends and brave to live. He was very comedy too.
2.Setting: It happened in airport.
3.Plot: Viktor was a Krakorzian. He came to US for the promise what he made for his father. However, when he already has been the US's airport, his country had revolution, that made his passport invaild. He wasn't allowed come to the US land. He was stayed in the airport. Then, he just lived in the airport, work in there for living, made some friends. At the begining, he couldn't speak more English, even couldnt communicate with other people. One day, he knew his country happened big problem, but he couldn't understand what the TV news talked about. Therefore, he learned English by himself in bookstore at the airport. Finally, he could speak English in fluence.
4.Issues: If you make a promise, you have to stand in your position to finish it, don't give up whatever the situation good or bad.
5. Opinion: The best part of the movie is Viktor finished his promise. The worst part of the movie is Viktor didn't together with the woman who he liked they met in the airport.
6.One sentence: I make a promise, I keep the promise.

week 6 weekend

I didn't go out to someplace last weekend. I just stay at home for watching, sleeping. I wacthed a entertainment program. The program is about some very cute dogs. They were make up. Some of them like panda, some like sheep, some very colorful. They run around the ground. So funny, so cute, I like so much. I forgot a thing, I went to the mall. But I just looking around. Many things I want to buy. Maybe next time.

week 6 - Earthquake

Today, I'm going to tell about a big thing happen in the same month last year. May 12th, nobody will forget what happen in the day. The 14:28pm, nobody will forget what happen in that monment. A big shake happened in the part of the world in that day that monment -a big earthquake in Sichuan, part of China. That is a scar in heart of every chinese. I saw many things surpass of life, many supermen, many volunteers...We didn't have any entertainment in that followed days, just focusd and cared about one thing - survier. What was our first thing, who were our first cosideration, survier. Many people who came from different part of China only had one goal, one destination, went to Sichuan to do a little things they could do. Right now, I want to show you a song, it's about the earthquake, and you can through a little introduction on the background to know the touching stories.( In English)

From the song, do you know what is love? do you know how the magic it can make? Love create life, create hope, create future. I don't know whether you know the early a big earthquake happened in China too - Tang shan big earthquake ( near to the Beijing). The worst situation too. Disaster, we can't to avoid it, just can reduce our harmness from it, and we need to do what we can do for it when it happen. I believe that, the topics about the earthquake: brave, strong, and love. Now, redeveolpment of Sichuan is well. Just because of love, and in love we believe. Love let us hold together.

News story

Recently, the president of Hong Kong Polytechnic University have planed work with mainland of China in education area to help some children who from poor family. The plan included build laborartory, researching and so on. Also, they are thinking about develop business, engineering master degree and degree program to reach the requirement. Recently, the coorperation between Hk and mainland is stronger than before. I think that is good way to develope the education in China. The system of education in Hong Kong is different to the mainland, so it helps to develope better education when two different system work together since we always say we can learn more from the advantages of two different things. Additional, it also helps some children who want to go to school to learn knowleadge. Is it sound good? I think so.

News Swine flu

Until now, Seattle Health Officals have confirmed 9 case in Washington State. Swine Flu appears this new flu strain is similar to seasonal flu in symptoms, treatment, and spread." Also Tuesday, Washington state health officials added 13 people to the list of probable cases of swine flu in the state, bringing the total of probable and confirmed cases to 58. All nine patients confirmed with swine flu were covering. And elementary school will reopen in the few days coming. I think everyone no need to scare it. What can we do? We have to washing our hands as soon as possible. Must stay at home if you sick. Cover your cough. Please do that for yourself and others.

Earth Day

Earth Day, it is a seriously topic to us ,to the world. Why it exists? That because us. Why we need the day? That because us. What is it talking about, about us? No, about a big problem that we creat it. We need to solve it by ourselves to save the earth. New movie

HI, see you again. Right now I want to share a new movie to you. I heard about it from my last quarter classmate before. I heard about the story which was wriiten in a book. The story is unique beautiful, about a love between human and non-human. The trailor is short, but I thinkthat can attract you enough. I still not watch the movie right now. I will watch it if I have free time.
